Compulsory basic training .... we don't have that, not even for motorcycles ... might be a good idea, but I baulk at the compulsory bit.
I have a t-shirt which reads: "Never Ride Faster than your Guardian Angel Can Fly."
(However, my fav. shirt is one that has on the back: "If you can read this the bitch fell off"
)
