This couple still spent £ 3,000 on their wedding though ! Ok, seemingly small budget these days .. is it crackers or what just to suit other people at the end of the day.
I had to fork out £ 2,000 for my daughter's wedding 18 years ago, and we hired the wedding dress .. still was a lot of money, and what got me was that the groom's parents did not offer a farthing towards it !! (and the marriage only lasted 6 months ..

) Is this still the tradition then ? Lots of parents must shake in their shoes when their daughter announces they are going to get married. Doesn't make the marriage any happier, does it.
