When he saw my Stanley shirt, he invited me up for an inpromptu "Accy-Accy-Accy Stanley" chant before extolling the virtues of our local football team to the assembled masses. Mrs H, meanwhile, had crossed the street and was busily pretending to be an ordinary Spanish houswife with no actual connection with the lunatic over the road, while Wammy's audience looked on in bemused wonder...
