Is there a doctor in Huncoat? If so then I see the point. We had a pharmacy in Ormerod Street but it closed down ages aho.
I went to the doctor last week - Accrington Pals - and took my two prescriptions to the pharmacy there. They couldn't give me either. Told me that one was no longer available and that the other would have to be ordered and they didn't know how long it would take.
I took them both back upstairs to the reception, told her my problem. She made a few phone calls and ascertained that Lloyds in Peel Street had the 'totally unavailable' item currently in stock and could get me the other one by the following morning! Why is the pharmacy within the medical centre so inefficient in comparison to a town centre pharmacy?
