Dear Ian Craney

Much as been said from both sides about the transfer & I presume both sides would have, in hindsight, like the deal to have been handled "more privately". However, from all the fans at this club, I would like to state for the record that we would love you to come to this club.

We have had a fantastic few seasons & you must have sampled some of the passion from the terraces when you played at the Crown in the Unibond. This club is on the up & I'm sure that you can be a part of it. We have ground improvements planned, new squad additions, full time status & crowds that should average 2000 next season. On the playing front, creativity from Midfield is something that, Rory apart, we have maybe lacked & your signature could be the diffrence between 8th or play offs this year.

You are a very good player as we saw at the last game at Moss Lane against Stanley. You have been a very loyal servant to Alty but I am sure that full-time football & conference football can make your passage to the higher echelons a little easier. I believe, as do Alty, that you have a talent that will enable you to play Div 2 at least. Grasp the opportunity to push Stanley into the play offs & put yourself firmly in the "shop window".

You will be worshipped at Stanley.....

Come on Ian - please sign for the Mighty Reds, next season is gonna be a cracker!

Jase
