I don't think it's a such a bad idea taking the conveniently over priced paper shop into account.

It's a good idea for people that find it difficult to get into town or aren't able to arrange to have their medication delivered, or for folk that just prefer to go into the shop to get it themselves.

Personally i'd prefer a walk down into the village for meds than having to make my way into the town centre, saves me money on fuel.

It's just a pity the owners haven't been able to sort out sufficient CCTV etc!
