I work in hospital pharmacy and although your prescriptions can take a while its usually down to workload, patients always think that if there's only a couple of you in the waiting room then thats all there is to be done. I assure you its not the case, most people drop off their script and go for a brew its not unusual to have 10 or more prescriptions in front of yours and only 2 technicians to dispense for out-patients. Believe me we try our best
