Vale fans comments:

"Craney was a class above anyone else on the pitch and their number 9 is destined for higher things."

Regardless of whether it was the second game or 17th or 40th, that was a deeply worrying performance.

From front to back, the ball was treated like a hot potato, and we were passed off the park by Accrington Stanley."

Mind you .. have us lot in the Railway upset someone? No tannoy and no lights in the men's latrines. It's bad enough getting nailed at home by Accrington Stanley, without someone slashing all over your shoes at half time"

Also, another thing that comes to mind, is that we were very lucky not to give away a penalty early on, from Slater. He spread his body, and his right arm lifted slightly, and connected with the ball. The liner had a good view, but I thought we were lucky there."

they should of won 4-0 number 9 had a great time agianst what can only be described as a very poor defence"

I thought their 'keeper was brilliant for them. Everything he did looked easy. Plucked every ball out of the air, and only slight blip was the spill from Taylor's turn and 'shot' late one. KENNY ARTHUR - 30 year old 'keeper, with plenty of experience. Just the sort we need!

Who was their number 9??"

There number 9 was a guy called Jamie Clarke.

I thought he looked very good and surely will play for a bigger team than Accrington at some point, our two centre halfs didnt have a clue what to do to stop him."

We dominated the game but didn't create a clear cut chance, whereas the height, strength and more importantly the experience of the Stanley forwards was enough to hold the ball up and create that wonderful second goal, despite the fact that they only really had the one "Chance" all game, bearing in mind they scored a free kick, and hit the bar from a distance."

I was impressed by AS and thought that they played some good stuff
