To be honest, although the 'banter' can get a little out of hand, many of the comments from the cowshed are very much tongue-in-cheek and have people laughing.
Yes of course things may get personal, but that happens at every level.
Personally I never negatively abuse players while they are on the pitch, as I don't think it does them any good and I've yet to see an abused player suddenly start playing better.
