Who finds it funny being punched? I doubt his parents found it funny either.
If it had been a homeless man that had punched the lad for doing something bad would we feel sorry for him for getting the same sentence? Even if he had been trying to make a citizens arrest?
Nobody should have the right to punch a child. Teachers have to put up with th worst of delinquent behavior but we'd be disgusted if kids came home in tears after being punched for being cheeky. Doubt we'd be saying the teachers deserve to dodge prison sentences anyway. How many of you would punch your own children?
