Some food supplements taken to excess will cause side effects.
Some people irresponsibly assume that anything 'natural' is harmless, so they take more than the dose recommended on the bottle. That is asking for trouble.

The side effects reported during the tests on Coenzyme Q10 were on quite high doses. However, I only take the recommended dose (30mg one a day) and find that the
mild inability to sleep, that some patients reported during the tests, added to my present high stress levels, was not a good combination.
The only advice on the packaging tends to be the same on all food supplements anyway "if you are taking medication, please consult your doctor or pharmacist before use".
Wise words, but I thought the whole point was that we didn't want to spend time in doctor's surgeries.
