Just read a book based round the village where my Mum grew up. It is called "An Irish Country Childhood" and though it wouldn't appeal to a lot of people I really enjoyed it as it gave me some insight into Mums early years

Oh it is written by Marrie Walsh and funnily enough Mums maiden name was Walsh
