The look of this type of food puts me off too....and I eat with my eyes and my nose first....... that is to say, I look at it and test out the aroma....if either are suspect then I give it the flick, I am sure that this is a survival thing.
If food looks horrible then I wouldn't put it into my mouth.
I am notorious for not even trying foreign/different food.
I like my food plain and recognisable.
I would not be a good guest on 'Come Dine with Me'.
