Madam, I will have you know in all honesty I have only ever been barred from one pub in my life.
I was working, drove onto the car park because it said lunches served, walked into the place the landlord staggered through from the back room and slurred, "I barred you last week for coming in here asking for drink, now begone". (I substituted the word begone in case the butt reads this I wouldn't want him to learn another swear word).
I think I'd caught him at a bad time, he must have been trying to find out who was fiddling all the free beer and was drinking it down to the pencil line he'd put on his barrels so he could catch them!
