and its not so much hate - as thats a very strong word at the best of times..I think you will find its only the minority who are like that and even then you can fire that one to the footy fans on both sides of the border - having been in the mix with both english and scottish fans - they are as bad as each other..and you could ask why so many english people move to scotland if they obviously dislike the scots so much....
and if scotland were to go it alone what makes you think it would go belly up...seriously ?

. As you say there are minorities on both sides of the devide. Just for the record one of my best mates ever was a chap from glasgow, I worked with him for quite a few years, well worked is not really the right word, we were room mates as well. He was quite a few years older than me and sadly he died in 1980, but I still remember those heady days we spent together
