The problem is that some people stick them in other people. The problem is that when they are caught they are not punished enough to deter other people. Sticking a knife in someone should get you a minimum 10 years inside.

I agree with this to a point ( tried to give karma, apparently i have put out too much in the last 24 hrs
) but to be honest, what genuine need is there to have fashion items with knives?? Just asking for trouble. Especially for dozy birds such as myself, that would end up tripping up and skewering myself
