Well Im a 60s kid and I survived all those things. Our local bobbies knew us and where we lived and not for the wrong reasons either. Our shopkeepers knew us so we wouldnt dare missbahave or we would get a thick ear.
I was still scared of my head teacher when my children were put in front of her lol. and we could camp out on the white ash playing fields without anyone harming us.
I think the majority of kids born in these eras were lucky enough to know and learn the true meaning of life and value its offerings. I come from a large family and we were very rarely poorly with bad colds etc.
Bring back the good old days .. god im sounding so old.. lmao!!!!
