Are we done discussing Mancie's political views? Back on topic any time soon?

I'm one of the few on this board who is firmly against the 42 day detention. It seems to have slipped the mind of the think tank dwellers to make the counter terrorism authorities better at their job in the time allocated (less red tape perhaps?) before ignoring human rights.
