How many times has Murdock played back-to-back games in the same week?

As for yesterday, well I think we were very unlucky not to get a point. Wycombe are built around a very good, well organised back line, but going forward they're not a patch on other 'leading' teams. They relied on a long ball game and it was a momentary lapse of concentration by an otherwise excellent Kenny Arthur that allowed them the chance to score.

On Football Focus yesterday, Lee Dixon said that top teams seem to have more luck than struggling ones because they never give up believing that they can win a game. I guess that was never more true than yesterday's game.

I think that we've got the basis of a decent team at the FES this season and hopefully some of that Wycombe luck will rub off on us.
