I don't know why Robert went there but, yes, he lived on Percy St. in West End. He was, I seem to remember, a very good swimmer.

Keith Thornley lived next door to my great-aunt, Jane Sleddon, on Norman Rd. and she used to child-mind him when he was a little boy along with my cousin, Shirley Sleddon, who was the same age as him (about 7 years older than me). I remember his mother died (brain tumour?) when he was quite young. I don't remember David Harker, though the name Harker does ring bells.
