Keith Thornley lived next door to my great-aunt, Jane Sleddon, on Norman Rd. and she used to child-mind him when he was a little boy along with my cousin, Shirley Sleddon, who was the same age as him (about 7 years older than me). I remember his mother died (brain tumour?) when he was quite young. I don't remember David Harker, though the name Harker does ring bells.

David Harker was a good friend on mine...his dad Willie Harker played for Burnley and Stanley and was the landlord of the Hare and Hounds.
