You are absolutely right - your turnstile staff did everything they could to persuade me to pay £3 more for a stand ticket, but like an idiot I said no.
Then at halftime when we were all sheltering under anything we could find that had a roof, the stewards came round and told us all we could go into the stand for the second half - which we all did, bar one stalwart soul.
Anyway, you needn't feel sorry for us until after you've stood on the uncovered Coppice terrace when you come to the frozen north
