Of course you are right, though it is only the B.B.C. who receives any funding from the licence fee. No other media company does. A monopoly, aa nationalise company, call it what you like.
If only David Cameron would decide what the Conservative's stand on the issue of the television licence was, they might be onto a vote winner.
