I don't know about Clarkson's own sense of humour, but I do remember his outrageous tantrums when the Mirror published photographs of him snogging his producer. A lady who isn't Mrs. Clarkson.
Still it probably had Piers Morgan, the then editor of the Mirror, laughing.
