Our cub scout leader at the conker competition in Accy three weeks or so ago said he wonders if the kids should be wearing safety goggles. I told him that if he even suggested it, I'd resign as his assistant. People need to get injured so they instinctively know the boundaries of what's safe, instead of having to be told all the time.
