Re: your last post ... One thing has always puzzled me. Why do the nurses always say something like, “just a small scratch” when administering the injection?

It’s nothing like a scratch!

If they don’t fancy saying what could be misconstrued by dirty minded people, then say nothing. Just stick the needle in. It’s not as if the injection actually hurts and even if it does it is only for a second or two.
