I remember my mum telling me the story or a ghost train going through the miley tunnel in preston we used to live right next to the railway, i often went over the fence to pick flowers and blackberrys and the railway is supposed to be disused well i kacked my pants when i was over the fence and a flipping train came!! (ghost train or coal train!) the line was still used to transport coal at that time, come to think of it why did i never see or hear the train before or after then when i was trying so hard to get over that tall fence im surprised i didnt do myself a mischief! lol

There was the story of a boy that went in kicking a footy and came out kicking a head in fact a few storys come to mind!

Needless to say i still went down through the miley tunnel but that was when i was about 19 years old and yes it was scary, google for it you can see pictures and you tube video!
