Not necessarily. You snipped out my qualifying statement, but Ive put it back above.
If you have multiple PCs in the house, any one of them might cause a problem by gobbling up the bandwidth. Oddly enough, it seems to be in our house that starting an
upload has a more detrimental effect on downloads than sharing the total download capacity. Debbie and I can watch iPlayer simultaneously, but if she's uploading photos to the lab, iPlayer on my machine becomes quite choppy.
