I've given up ever trying to get into the chat room , each time I try it says " newer version of Java applet reqd" (that doesn't work ) even after following the instructions in an old thread about clearing everything and loading the old version it didn't work , so I've given up, put it down to there being a special link somewhere which only 'special' members know about.
