that road can be horrendous especialy when all the parents double park their cars to watch their kids play football leaving the road to be over 300 yards of single file traffic with a brow to boot so you cant see cars coming the other way

i drive down there a lot and i am surprised there arnt more accidents with a mixture of speeding drivers , inconsiderate parking , kids running out between parked cars and not wearing anything visable in the dark

wouldnt hurt to start teaching kids how to cross a road safely in schools again either

hope the lad gets well and that somthing gets sorted with that road because as of yet there isnt one saftey measure in place , no crossing and not even so much as a speed bump
