There is no need for there to be any correlation between marriage and being a bore. If you weren't a bore before you got married then getting married won't turn you into one.

I got married when I was 21 and certainly was not ready for flannelette nighties and evenings spent playing dominoes. I have always loved a bit of innuendo and a laugh.
