The police, quite wrongly, said they weren't looking for anyone else in relation to the murder of Rachel Nickell. Meaning, by implication, that Colin Stagg was guilty, but couldn't be prosecuted.
The media of course backed up the police idea that Stagg was guilty of this crime.
Many lives, Stagg, the victims and their families, have had their lives ruined by this total fiasco.
Heads should roll.
