At this time of year the papers are full of psychic predictions for the coming year of 2009.

World Predictions for 2009

Personally I think it's a load of mumo-jumbo, but lets see if we can predict what might happen in the next twelve months, by peering into our crystal balls.

There'll be karma, and kudos, for the most accurate predictions...though you'll have to wait twelve months to get it.

I predict that the United Kingdom will come a close second in the Eurovision Song Contest, and a meteor will come to earth in Scotland.
