I think Beckham did a really good job as Captain, but it has affected his game. Give the lad a chance,,,he tried his best to give support to the rest of the Team.
Owen Hargreaves is a good player but needs some time in the Premier League to toughen himself up. Watched him a lot over here, and he's too light and easily robbed in possesion, But he has a future.
As for English managers...well I don't think there are any really top-class ones around at the moment...John Toshack?? (I know he's Welsh, but beggars can't be choosers).
