It works both ways.
I really do think that wards should be same sex only but these days it seems you've just got to be glad of a bed, to get out without contracting MRSA and beggar the rest.
My hubby's going into Burnley hospital next week for a knee op, I don't know whether the ward will be same sex or not but I'll just be glad to have him back in one piece.
