I used it about 20 years ago - it was an unexpected freebie when I booked a holiday with Italian Escapades.
It certainly would consider using it again if I could afford it - just looked -£20 - not bad
There were free drinks, croissants, cookies - you could spend almost that much in those cafes in the regular waiting area.

If your flight is unexpectedly delayed it would be a wonderful place to be - you get waited on and get a whisper in your ear when it is time to go to the departure area
