That I have got to agree with...you support your corner, as I do without the intervention of the fence sitters, hopefully.
Local issues are tempered with the overall picture of politics in the UK.
What do local politics mean?....I am at a loss to get my head round them.
Is it that local councillors want to be elected for the good of the community or for the good of number one?.
I have met many councillors in my long life but have never been impressed by one of them.
I was once asked at a function to be upstanding for the Mayor of Blackburn ....my answer was to remain seated....the man was a fool of the highest order.and remained seated.
That was my opinion and thankfully I have got that right....
