The ruined bit may have been demolished. I think it may well be Whalley Abbey but I can't find a pic of it which may be due to the reason that we don't normally associate the buildings in use with the ruins. As you enter the Abbey grounds via the gatehouse you will see the Conference buildings straight ahead with the dog leg staircase going up. I think these are just off to the right of the photo that started the thread and the white bit is the car park area as it was originally just a circular drive. Maybe someone could get a pic??
