I did have successful, and very interesting career, but that's not the issue. I was just lucky enough to find a niche where what little talent I have was needed. I didn't have to prove anything, or justify myself, as I don't have any need to lie, and am certainly happy enough in my own skin not to feel the need to 'big myself up.'
The only proof I offered that I don't tell lies, is that I said there are enough people who do know me on here, friends who'd happily pull me up if I'd said something they knew to be untrue.
