OK , apologies for the 'cock-up' in the thread title , (no way to edit after posting) . the idea behind my original post was just to ask why , as an 'Englishman' who now lives overseas is why the other nations/parts of the UK or GB are more often than not portrayed in international media (movies/cinema/news) in a more positive role than the English ,
