As an aside: belief in the spirit world is more common in certain cultures than it is in others ... just chatting with an Algonquin friend of mine, and in the Algonquin culture, as with most First Nations, belief in the spirit world is accepted without question by many people. Of course, there aren't too many First Nations people in Hyndburn
