I can't believe it ... I googled Parkin, and was told that it was most commonly associated with YORKSHIRE

.... Is this true .... I remember the parkin that my gran used to make .... is this a Lancashire thing, or is it Yorkshire

By the way, the Wiki entry does give Lancashire an offhand mention as an also ran in the parkin department
