Well i have just spoken to him and he says that he passed in a doubledecker, BUT it doesnt matter if you pass in a single decker you can still drive ANY.
The only difference is that if you pass in a manual you can drive any bus, but if you learn in a automatic you can only drive in a automatic!

He has a :-
D
D1
D+E licence so he can drive any, but if you only have a D licence then you can only drive a minibus
