A lot of people have mentioned using a mobile phone whilst driving, it always baffles me about this. I the scheme of things the mobile phone is rather new, only 10 or so years ago if you wanted to make a phone call you had to schlep all over the place looking for one of those little red boxes by the side of the road, and if you couldn't find one which was working (most of them were vandalised) you had to wait till you got home or to where ever you were going. To me anybody caught using a mobile phone whilst driving should be an automatic 3 months driving ban, 6 months for a second offence and increasing by three months after that, maybe if this were to happen a few more minds may be focused on the fact that using a phone and driving is very dangerous and considering that not to long ago you couldn't do it anyway makes it more so.
