Did any one on here work there at any time? Or know anyone that did?
It was where the Co-op is now!!
I worked there in my teens, 91/92 ish!!
I was there when Mr Bateman was the store manager and he left due to ill health. His wife works at ASDA, (has done for years!!)

I can't remember names that well, but I remember there was a Margaret on the fags counter, Audra on the tills (she lived on a farm as far I can remember!), Richard Weeks was on the fag counter, too I think!!

Just wondered what they are all up to now!!
