I think it was a folly in the gardens of the old house. I don't remember the big house which I think was where the top bowling green was, but have spent many hours playing in there when we lived on Laburnum Drive in the early 70's.
I had my first kiss in the playground there (on top of the slide) - that wasn't you was it? Of course it wasn't, she moved away years ago. I wonder where HB is now?

Ah the memories come flodding back.
