I remember not long before the 1979 election,Thatcher saying that British workers were lazy when she appeard on Question Time....this was greeted with raucous applause from the audience....I knew from then she would win that election....I doubt Mandelson actually called the British lazy..or maybe he was quoting Thatcher!
