I personally would shut the door if he was playing in my front room, and have always found that the people who are real fans are a liitle obsessive and dare I say strange? ( personal experience there). Dealt with many wacko fans when working in the music shops and his were by far the maddest!
So no, my hard earned won't be going to line his pockets, though I may put a bet on his not completing the dates, nervous exhaustion/breakdown/in custody, take yer pick!
