I don't want to know what my ancestors think of life now........I would like to know how they met......who the important people in their life were......and why they were important.
I would like to know how they handled the hard life and the disappointments....and how they overcame the difficulties and how they had fun.
I would like to know who didn't get on with who, and about the petty(or not so petty squabbles) in their lives.
All families have them don't they.
Alas, it is too late for me to ask all these questions.......and when we meet up again......I'm not sure that all this stuff will be important anymore.
