Jade Goody?
On a personal level I have no feelings one way or another about her or anything she may have done. I'm not about to start casting stones at someone else. Its terrible someone, anyone that age loses a life

The impact for me around this is the uptake in smear invitations that are flowing in.
I probably averaged about 8 smears a week a month ago
Yesterday I did 12 in a day. This has been the case now for several weeks.
Women who have avoided, delayed and consistently non-attended for this test are phoning for appointments and turning up. (this and smoking appointment are the ones people don't turn up for most regular)
Some of these women have had previous smears showing abnormal cells and still haven't returned until now, for follow up
So, its motivated people to look after themselves and take it seriously.
